Applying eye shadow is pretty easy, but first, it is important to note the parts of your eye that require attention;

I want to start by letting you guys know that you cannot do this without a great make-up brush. So do make sure you have a great brush.

Now, let’s get to it;

USE AN EYE SHADOW PRIMER;

An eye shadow primer helps to keep your eye shadow intact, the same way a face primer helps to keep foundation intact. Gently sweep the eye shadow primer across your entire eyelid, up to your brow bone right under your eyebrow (remember our dramatic look?), around the inner corner of your eye and even along your lower lash line for a stay-all-day wear.

 BASE TIME;

Using your eye shadow brush, sweep your best base shade on your eyelid. Your skin tone should tell you what shade would work better. So it is important that you study your skin tone and start off this eye shadow glow with a bang!

Well, depending on the look you’re going for, you can switch up your base colour.  For an everyday mundane look, your base colour can stop at the crease of your eye but for a more dramatic look, it can go all the way up to your brow bone.

CREASE TIME;

It is time to define your crease in order to give your eye makeup a more defined look. Dip your angled crease brush into your preferred eye shadow shade. Then, close your eye and apply the eye shadow along where your eyelid meets your brow bone, creating a wash of pretty colour.

TIME TO BLEND;

You are going to need a clean blending brush for this. What you need to do is blend! blend! blend! You need to make sure the shade on your crease and outer V are blended right into your lid.

TIME TO HIGHLIGHT;

It’s time for you to use your lightest eye shadow shade to make your eyes pop. Then finish up with a mascara. Well, there you go! Perfect!
