Understanding colour

We have three types of colour and they include:
1. Three (3) primary colours, and they are Red, Blue and Yellow
2. Three (3) secondary colours and they include:
Green, violet and orange
3. Six (6) tertiary colours including; Red-Orange, Red-Violet, Blue-Violet, Blue-Orange, Yellow-Violet, Yellow-Orange.

How To Mix Colour chart

Painters and photographers are good with colours, however that’s not an excuse you shouldn’t know how to mix colours too.
Colour chart is obtained by mixing primary colours with secondary colours to produce 6 different colours.
1. Red + orange = Red-Orange
2. Red+Violet =Red-Violet
3. Yellow + Violet = Yellow-Violet
4. Yellow + Orange = Yellow-Orange
5. Blue + Violet = Blue-Violet
6. Blue + Orange = Blue-Orange

Uses of colour chart

1. To improve object recognition
2. It speeds visual search
3.colour chart convey structure
4. It is used to establish identity
If you mix all primary colours together, it will give you black.
You need to know that white goes with blue, red and black colour
